HR Pages | BACKGROUND CHECKS All school employees hired after 2013 who work in the schools and may have direct and unmonitored contact with children are required to complete a national background check. It is a condition of employment that all newly hired employees and sub-contractors must be CORI-checked and fingerprinted prior to the start of their assignment. All volunteers in schools need to be CORI'd. Please see the details below. CORI CHECKS Please complete this form and bring it with identification to the HR office with the rest of your packet.
FINGERPRINTING To register for a date, time and location for fingerprinting, please visit IndentoGo. They have locations in Haverhill, Methuen, Danvers, Billerica, Everett and Waltham. Please bring an appropriate forms of identification and the appointment confirmation page with you to the fingerprinting center.
SUITABILITY LETTER FROM PAST EMPLOYER If you have worked in another school system and have had fingerprints done already, you will need to request a letter of suitability from your previous workplace. Include your name, DOB, and timeframe for your employment, as well as, an email address or mailing address as to where the letter should be sent. Letters usually take about seven days to generate.
