As we’ve continued planning with our district leadership team, principals and staff, we understand that this is an anxious period of time as you prepare to make a decision on what is best for your child(ren) for the upcoming school year. The goal of this post is to provide you with an OVERVIEW of the different schooling options proposed. Please note that for clarity, we have renamed the “Remote Learning Academy” to “Online Learning Academy” in an effort to distinguish it from the remote learning experience that is part of our NAPS Reopening Plan. Tuesday August 4th, there is a school committee meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. when you will have the opportunity to learn additional information about the plan and its components. Additionally, on Thursday, August 6th there will be a roundtable discussion available through NACAM that may offer even more information to assist you in your decision-making process. You will receive an email notification when that roundtable video is posted online. For planning purposes, the survey in which you will be asked to choose your child(ren)’s schooling option for the upcoming year will be sent to you via email this Friday, August 7th with a deadline of completion at the end of the day on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.
