Well if you have heard a rumor that we have a name for our school, it is correct! On Thursday night, the school committee unanimously voted to name our school the "Anne Bradstreet Early Childhood Center". Anne Bradstreet was a well known poet who we will all learn more about as this process of building the addition and preparing for the opening continues. An interesting fact to note is that everyone knows the school on Main St. was also named "Bradstreet School", but this was NOT named after Anne but instead was named after her husband. This early childhood center will be named after Anne, only the second school in North Andover to be named after a female! |
