The Academic Development Center (ADC)

The Academic Development Center (ADC) is back! Like years passed, we will be offering Credit Recovery & Peer Tutoring from the National Honor Society. The ADC is located in the computer lab across from the nurse’s office in room 1003. The ADC will be available to students starting Tuesday October 9th. The schedule is as follows:

• Monday through Thursday 6:50 - 7:20 AM in ADC
• Monday through Thursday 2:15 - 3:15 PM in ADC 

The ADC can be accessed for:

• Credit Recovery
  Students can earn .5 credits back for each 2.5 hours served. Students can earn up to 2.5 credits back in each class.
  
  
• Course completion
  If a student needs to complete a full course, ADC coordinators will enroll student in an online course through Edgenuity with administration approval.
  
  
• Make up tests
  Students should attempt to take any make up tests/quizzes with classroom teacher first.  Should there be a scheduling conflict, ADC staff can administer make-up exams on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during ADC hours. *Please note that the exam must be able to be completed within the designated time frame. 
  
  
• Peer Tutoring
  Peer tutoring will be coordinated through ADC advisors and the NHS advisor. Please contact Sara or Katie with Peer Tutoring referrals.
