College Bound Juniors Information
Dear Class of 2022, Parents/Guardians: If you want to hear how the NAHS Guidance Department can help your junior navigate the College Application Process, please read the following message from Guidance Director, Steve Nugent: On Monday, January 25th I will email you a video. The goal of that video is to introduce and review everything you need to know about the College Application Process. We will discuss Naviance and how to use this tool to figure out which colleges are a good match for your junior. We will also talk about Standardized Testing and other important things that some colleges will request when your student applies. Finally, we will share a Timeline, detailing each step of the process and when you should be there. On Thursday, January 28th each guidance counselor will provide two opportunities for you (and your junior) to join a GoogleMeet where you can ask questions. These meetings will take place at 3:30pm and 6:30pm that day. You only need to attend one of these meetings. We respectfully request that you watch the video prior to joining a meeting so you are in a better position to ask questions. More information about these meetings will come directly from your junior's guidance counselor the week of January 25th. |
