Please read on for information about PAC, Picture Day, and news from the Guidance Department September 24, 2017 Dear NAHS Parents/Guardians/Caregivers: I’d like to thank everyone that took the time to attend our Open House last week. We are excited to work with your students for the 2017-2018 school year and beyond. Below are a few updates for the next couple of weeks. From Our PAC: The NAHS Parent Advisory Committee (NAHS PAC) is an important part of the high school community. The PAC is comprised of parent volunteers and depends primarily on direct donations. The PAC needs your help in order to continue funding activities that support NAHS. Please consider donating by cash, check or through PayPal to the PAC at this link . On September 27th, from 8:30 to 10:00 am in Room 1064, the PAC is hosting a morning coffee open to all high school parents. This is a great opportunity for parents to meet our assistant principals, Scott Young and Brooke Randall and learn more about what is planned for the high school. We look forward to meeting many of you then and discussing some of my ideas. Underclassmen Pictures: Picture Day for Underclassmen Grades 9, 10 and 11 is September 28, 2017 in the auditorium. Additional ordering information from Lifetouch is available from this link from our high school website. Students will be called down during the school day from class by grade and last name to have pictures taken. From Our Guidance Department: Sophomores and Juniors are encouraged to take the PSAT on Saturday, October 14, at NAHS. To register complete and return the registration form that was mailed home (also available on the Guidance website) with payment of $25 to the Guidance Office no later than Wednesday, October 4th. Freshmen will meet with their guidance counselor next week. On Tuesday, September 26 and Thursday, September 28, guidance counselors will visit all Biology classes once to run a quick lesson and start to build an important relationship with the class of 2021. Thanks for taking the time to read the message. Sincerely, Chet Jackson North Andover High School Principal Personal Twitter: @chetjackson22 High School Twitter: @NorthAndoverHS |
