Good Evening NAMS Families,

I hope that this message finds you and your loved ones well. On Friday you received the latest Principal’s Post, which you may find here and on our website. 

The purpose of this message is to provide information regarding our schedule for the next 4 weeks until April vacation.

As you have heard, the School Committee announced that NAMS would be returning fully in person on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. This means that students attending school in person or remotely will be provided synchronous instruction every day beginning on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Monday, March 22, 2021 through Tuesday, April 27, 2021 students will continue to attend classes in person or remotely according to their Cohort Days.

We will be surveying NAMS families soon to identify who will be attending school in-person fully or remotely beginning on April 28th, stay tuned for more information.

Trimester 3 begins tomorrow, Monday, March 22, 2021. 

You may find all student schedules for Trimester 3 here. Students may find their schedules in PowerSchool, which have been finalized this weekend. Students should be sure to identify what Related Arts classes they have been enrolled in for the start of Trimester 3. 

In preparation for the full return on April 28, 2021 we will be asking students to attend Related Arts classes according to the following schedule:

• Week of March 22nd - Day 1 Related Arts Classes

• Week of March 29th - Day 1 Related Arts Classes

• Week of April 5th - Day 2 Related Arts Classes

• Week of April 12th - Day 2 Related Arts Classes

Week of April 19th - APRIL VACATION

• Monday, April 26th - Day 1 Schedule for Cohorts A, C, & D

• Tuesday, April 27th - Day 1 Schedule for Cohorts B, C, & D

• Wednesday, April 28th - Full Return of All Students (No More Cohorts!)

Attention OLA Students & Families:

• You may find all student schedules for Trimester 3 here. Please be sure to review the OLA schedules.

• Students will be enrolled in 1 RA Day 1 class and 1 RA Day 2 class.

• These classes will either meet during RA1 or RA2 class periods.

• Students in full year band or full year chorus will still have the opportunity to participate in the music program on Wednesdays and will be sent specific information by their music teacher.

Please know that much more information regarding the full return of students still needs to be negotiated and finalized. You will be receiving updates as they become available. Specific information regarding schedules and more will be shared with you prior to April vacation.
