RAISE VALUES AT NAMS

Each month, one of our RAISE values will be the focus. For the month of December will be on S for Service. We will kick off the month with our annual Food Drive to support Break & Roses. Each week, the NAMS community will be asked to help others with a different challenge. Beginning on Monday, December 9th students will be invited to recognize classmates for their service to others by completing a brief recognition form outside of the guidance counselor's office.

Instead of reading a different quote or precept during morning announcements, we will focus on each month's theme beginning next week as follows:

  • Mondays - Challenge based upon that month's theme will be shared with students.

  • Tuesday - Inspirational quote or precept will be shared with students.

  • Wednesday - Short story recognizing how someone demonstrated this month's theme will be shared with students.

  • Thursday - Short story recognizing how someone demonstrated this month's theme will be shared with students.

  • Friday - A student in each grade will be selected from the recognition box outside of the guidance counselor's office and will be recognized as part of morning announcements.

LYLEF Mission
We believe that all North Andover students should have access to learning experiences outside of the traditional classroom that foster critical 21st century skills. The Live Your Learning Education Fund supports students who lack financial means to take advantage of these opportunities, both domestic and international. LYLEF opens doors to students, many of whom have not had experiences outside of their own community, who would not be able to participate in these rich educational experiences without financial aid.

Rotary Club Fundraiser

December 7th at 7 p.m. at the North Andover High School, Warren Miller Entertainment confirms that the joys of winter are eternal with its 70th full-length feature film, “Timeless,” presented by Volkswagen. The North Andover Rotary is sponsoring this epic ski film and by buying a $15 ticket to the show, you will receive a mid-week ski ticket to Sugarbush and an early/end of the season ticket to Killington!
