Please be sure to also check us out on Twitter @NAMiddle Grade 8 to 9 Transition Night - Monday, February 4th North Andover High School (NAHS) welcomes all 8th grade parents and students who are planning to attend the high school to our Transition Night. Please join us on Monday, February 4th from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Auditorium to learn more about your student’s transition to NAHS. The presentation is geared towards explaining the differences between the NAMS trimester and the NAHS trimester in transitioning from Middle to High School. NAMS Family Night is scheduled for Wednesday, February 13th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. All of our NAMS families are invited to join us for NAMS Family Night on February 13th. Our Related Arts teachers have been working hard to plan this annual event. There will be refreshments available by our PTAC such as All activities are ongoing from 5:30-7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated below.
Upcoming Grade 6 Assembly - Jesse Green comes to NAMS Motivational speaker and chainsaw sculptor, Jesse Green, is scheduled to speak with grade 6 students on Friday, February 15, 2019. Jesse will be sharing how he got started on such a wild and unusual career path, the challenges he faced along the way, what he learned from it all, plus so much more. Students should find him both engaging and inspirational. At the end of his presentation, he will be revealing the sculpture that he has been creating for NAMS. NAMS Book Fair is Coming & Volunteers are Needed! Many volunteers are needed to make this a successful event. Please CLICK HERE to sign-up to help with the fair. The NAMS Book Fair is scheduled for Friday, February 8, 2019 through Thursday, February 14, 2019. Students will be visiting the Book Fair during their English classes on one of the Book Fair Days. Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Lawlor Rink at Merrimack College Tickets are $15 per person and include admission and a puck for Merrimack’s Chuck-A-Puck! Following the large group presentation, families will move to small breakout groups with NAHS Department Coordinators who will share information about specific subjects.

Our Student Ambassadors will be available for tours of the high school from 5:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for any family who was not able to make a tour in November at the 7th & 8th Grade Open House. Those families wishing to take part in the tours should report to the NAHS Auditorium from 5:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. We also invite families of 8th grade students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs’) for an introduction of our Special Education program from 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. prior to the main presentation in the Auditorium. |
