Full Return of Students on April 28th

Families were asked to let us know by March 26th if they wished for their child(ren) to attend school in person or remotely from April 28, 2021 through the end of the current school year. With this information, we can now continue the planning process. I’m very fortunate to work with educators at NAMS who deeply care about our students, your children, and have been working collaboratively to address many of the challenges associated with a full return. There will be much information to share with you in the coming days and weeks. As decisions are made, you will be notified through messages and videos. Stay tuned for more information.

NAMS Educator Appreciation Week is May 3-7, 2021

Are you looking for a special way to say thank you to either a specific teacher, a team, or the entire staff at NAMS? Please consider purchasing a plant or shrub to be planted in their honor in one of the NAMS courtyards!

You will have the opportunity to include a personal message which will be shared with the teacher or team, as well as a message which will be shared with the entire staff during staff appreciation week. (If you have multiple teachers that you would like to thank individually, please submit a separate entry for each.) You may make a donation and share a message by completing the google form found here.

April 14th Live Stream Presentation for Students & Staff

I am so very pleased to inform you that the NASEC is able to put together an all school show for the NAMS thanks to our amazing volunteer group.

Did you hear about the live stream show that NAPS elementary schools had on March 31st? NAMS students and staff will be able to watch a live stream musical performance of a capella group, Ball in the House, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. It is scheduled on Wednesday so that all students can tune in at once from home, the group worked with the cable company so that they can accommodate the large volume access at once.

This is brought to us by the North Andover Enrichment Council. You may find more information about this group, this event, and the NAEC here or at the following address:

The North Andover Enrichment Council (NASEC) is a volunteer-led group and receives no funding from the town or school district.  Programs like this are only possible with the generous support from you and through PTAC.  Please consider making a tax-deductible gift to NASEC and continue supporting programming in the Science and Humanities! To donate, go to our Facebook page by searching North Andover Enrichment Council or go to https://sites.google.com/view/nasec/fundraising?authuser=0

Attention Grade 8 Students & Families - Math at NAHS

At the last School Committee meeting, the NAHS transition from a trimester schedule model to a semester/full year schedule model was approved. Because of this exciting change, things may look a little different as your student enters NAHS. NAHS has compiled the information in a document found here to answer any questions.  However, if after reading through this you have other questions or concerns, please reach out to Debra Daley, NAHS Math Department Coordinator, at daleyd@northandoverpublicschools.com.
