Message to NAMS Families - September 21, 2020

posted Sep 21, 2020, 2:17 PM by Jorge Goncalves

Good afternoon NAMS Families,

I hope that this message finds you and your family well. First, I would like to apologize for the Internet issues we experienced this morning. I was in a meeting with all grade 8 staff when we needed to take our meeting outside. Soon after the district made the decision to send staff home to work. Some staff were back online soon after while others had much longer commutes. Once again, I saw NAMS staff deal with these challenges with professionalism, flexibility, and patience.

As promised the focus of today’s message is a review of the Drop-Off/Pick-Up Maps and procedures. You may find a copy of the maps on our website and here. You may find a video of how students arrive and can be dropped off at school here. Playing the part of mom is Ms. Beasley (Teams 6A, 6D, 8A, 8B, & 8C Assistant Principal). Playing the part of narrator and proud father is me, Jorge Goncalves (Principal). Playing the part of student is Steve Wrigley (Teams 6B, 6C, 7A, 7B, & 7C Assistant Principal).
